It's frustrating. I know how to get over writers' block. I know all the tricks. I have Water all planned out. I know what's happening every step of the way, but several key plot points rests in Willow's little hands and the scene is not working. Arghhhhh!
I lot of it, I think, is that I'm over thinking the scene.
Doesn't help that I've been distracted by yet another shiny plot bunny for a short story. AAARRRGHHHH!
*waves fist at brain*
When I said I needed inspiration, I meant on Water, not for a whole new freakin' short story! That (*people clutch your hearts*) involves a Spike/Xander (nonslash) road show, complete with Xander bespelled to think he's someone else (a mentally challenged someone else, no less) because he's got to hide an important spell in his head from the bad guys.
*headdesk headdesk headdesk*
SPIKE NOT NOW! PLEASE WAIT YOUR TURN!
I blame Tony Harris for this. I really, really do.
