*huggles*
I so needed that to bring a smile to my face, what with recent frustrations.
In less happy news, on the Music from the Cube front...
It turns out that Imeem has its own share of problems, in that not all tracks will actually stream if you're not signed into the Web site. As Imeem is the only embeddable streaming option accepted by El-Jay, I'm still SOL, as it were.
All I know is that I can't keep doing the Music from the Cube posts the way I have.
Flocking the posts is an option, but I know that there are some people who visit this LJ just for those posts and really couldn't care less about the rest of it. I don't want to have to force people to friend me just so they can see those posts.
At the moment, I'm leaning towards keeping the downloads, but creating a FLocked community. That way, people can friend the community without having to friend me, and I'll be able to limit access to those posts from the broader Internet. I'm not stupid enough to think that a Flocked community will be completely private, but it will make it much, much harder to find.
So, poll time!

Should the new community be pimped?
No. The fewer people who know about it, the better.
4(10.3%)
Let word-of-mouth do the job. News about communities like this tend to get around anyway.
29(74.4%)
Let people pimp it. The more the merrier.
1(2.6%)
Whatever. It's your community.
5(12.8%)
Should we limit membership (based on some vague criteria I haven't decided yet)?

Whatever.

Do you want a tick-y box?
