Boosting the Signal: United Doesn't Want Business from the Disabled

I know I've run across evilpuppy online before, although I can't remember in what context. I do know that in those situations she's always struck me as fairly level-headed.

In any case, she has a story to tell about her mistreatment at the hands of United that is sure to cause eye-bleeding rage.

It appears that United's official policy for disabled passengers is: "If you take our airline, you must rely on the kindness of strangers to help you, because we'd much rather you fly another airline."

Yes, this was said to evilpuppy by not just a stewardess, but a customer service supervisor in pretty much those words.

Read the whole horrible story here.

Once you do that, feel free to directly email the president and other chief executives of United to discuss their policy toward disabled customers.

It goes without saying that you should keep your email firm, but polite. No swearing, no capslocks of rage, and for fuck's sake no death threats.
